How long after tragus piercing until I can change the earring?

I just got my tragus done today with circle barbell and I'd like to switch to a labret stud when the time is right.

I've heard that you should wait at least 2 months... correct?

  1. You can change your jewellery after 8 weeks no problem. It takes 6-12 months to fully heal. Source: my piercer.
