I just found out that I definitely have PCOS, through all the tests and unltrasounds that they did. The doctor put me on metformin and clomid together. To the women out there with the same problem that did get pregnant or that are still not pregnant, how long did the treatment take before you were pregnant or how long have you been trying?

  1. i have been ttc for about 10 months although i did get preg almost right away with met. alone  i m.c.  i believe it was because i stopped taking met. your chances are pretty high on average ot takes about 3mnts to start working but who knows it only took me about one good luck i wish you all the best and hopefully we both will soon have positive preg, tests

  2. i also have pco but havent taken any meds for it so sorry i cant help with that, but if it gives you some encouragement im pregnant naturally after trying for one month so dont give up. everyone is different so you may get pregnant quickly or it may take some time. just follow the advice from your doctor and let nature do the rest. good luck.

  3. ok dear first of all dont panic if u just found out that u have pcos.so many woman have it now a days but still people think that its someting uncommon.i knew i had pcos since i was 15.i controlled it by medication.now we come to getting pregnant in pcos.its a 10000% possible for woman with pcos to conceive my best friend just gave birth to twins on clomid & metformin.she tried for only seven months with the help of the best fertility specialist.now i m going to the same specialist for the last three months.it took her seven months to conceive.docter said it took her so long becz she was overweight.u know the first thing docters will tell to woman with pcos is reduce weight, eat healthy & conceive fast.in my first appointment my weight was 62,my docter asked me to reduce as much as i  possibly could.now my weight after 3 months is 55 & he says my chances  of conceiving anytime in coming cycles r up by 80%.do u know why our docters gave us metformin?its to control type 2 diabetese.if u have pcos u will have sugar,so avoid sugar completely.all i can say is listen to ur docter, stop eating sugar or anything sweet altogether.avoid sweet fruits, rice, bread, chips & junk food.docters can only give us medication to help woman with pcos conceive but what i have learned is we can increase our chances a lot more by a little hard work(i did a lot of exercise to reduce weight) & a little care in what we eat.be optimistic.pls feel free to ask me anything i know that might help u.lots of baby dust to u.
