How long after u have been exposed 2 hepatitis do u have 2 wait 2 get tested?

my daughter had s*x and later was told the guy had hepatitis c. dr told her it was to early to test 4 it.

Well, if she was going to be exposed to any Hepatitis through s*x, Hep C was the best one to be exposed to because it is almost never sexually transmitted...you need a lot of blood to blood transmission...it isnt found in vaginal or seminal secretions like Hep B...because she was exposed to Hep C it would be prudent for her to get tested, but the results will almost certainly be negative. Hep C has a period of seroconversion,test at 3 and 6 months after exposure...don't lose too much sleep over it. It is a VERY serious disease but again, almost never is acquired sexually.
