Question:

How long after using Veet should I wait to tan?

I'm thinking of going to the beach this weekend. I prefer using Veet over shaving, but I also want to get a spray tan. I'm afraid if I don't wait long enough for the hair follicles to close up, then my tan will come out uneven.

  1. It suggests not swimming for about 48 hours. I think it means that anything that contains chlorine could react with the veet and damage the skin. I think you would need to wait about 3 days. And probably shower in between hair removal and tanning.
