How long after you get your braces off can you eat soild or hard food?

I ate solids right away, but it just depends on how sensitive your teeth are. I don't remember mine being sensitive at all after I got my braces off.

same day or the next. Bread are harder foods maybe a little bit longer since they are sensetive

yes you can eat fried rice. when i had my braces off i took some pain killers and ate solid food straight away

When I got my braces off, I could eat right away.  The most different thing about having my braces off was that my teeth felt all smooth and the texture of the smoothness took some time getting used to.  Also, I could hardly stand looking at myself without the braces because all I saw was *TEETH*, I felt like Mr. Ed (Horse) lol  Anyways, congratulations on your braces coming off!

You should wait a few hours just to be on the safe side, but it is possible to eat the same night.
