How long after you lost your plug?

I lost some of my plug 2 weeks ago, and the rest today so I was wondering how long after you lost all of your did you go into labor or start having strong contractions (enough to go to the hospital)..

you never really know after the plug it could be from that day to two weeks from them. you should go to the hospital when the pains are four minutes apart

it could be another two weeks or two hours you never know.

I asked my doctor this question last wed. cause i started losing some of my mucous plug. she said once it's all out real labor usually kicks in within 48 hrs. but that was approximate. I guess it could be a little longer if not "all" of it came out and you just think it has but I guess you never really know if it "all" came out.lol.

i hope you have your bag packed. it usually isnt long. it should be a matter of a couple of days. all women are different but you should be prepared.  good luck

the mucus plug can be so misleading.  one time i lost it and went into labor that night.  but, i can't see someone going for more than 2 weeks after you loose it.  my guess is ANY day now.
