How long after you set up your induction date did you get induced?

I know that makes no sense but...

how many days after you set up the date did you go in and get induced??

I know each doctor is gonna be different but I just wanna see! I have a doctors appointment today at 2:30 and I'm getting really excited!!

my due date was a thursday..i had seen the doctor that monday and they said if i dont go by my due date, to go into the hospital sunday and get induced. so i didnt go on my due date, went to the hospital around 730 sunday night, had the baby at around 1am!

With my first I was due April 20, but if he did not come after April 26 they were going to induce me on the 27th at 8 am.

He ended up coming, and being born on the 23rd.

With this one I am due election day November 3, and they already told me that if I do not have him by November 9 then I will be induced. I have not set up a time for that yet.

I went to the doctors on Tuesday and was scheduled to be induced the next day... I had my son Wednesday night.

My doctor told me, months ago, that I would be induced on Oct.15th, unless I have her before then... I'm 34 weeks, now, but have 6 weeks, at the lastest, since that's when the induction will be.

my scheduled induction date was made two weeks before i was due to be induced.

my pregnancy was going so well i was giving the option to be induced. most doctors wont induce you though (depends on the doctor, mine did it cause my due date was so close to thanksgiving, and i think he had plans lol) unless you are having complications.

I THINK I SEEN MY DOCTOR ON A TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY AND I WAS SCHEDULED TO BE INDUCED THE FOLLOWING MONDAY

Both times I was scheduled for induction it was scheduled for the following week. So I'd say about a week.

But, most hospitals will not allow induction unless you are at 39 weeks. Unless medically necessary.
