How long after you sit a paper in a GCSE exam is it marked?

As i'm currently midway through my GCSE's, I was wondering how long after you sit a specific paper is that same paper marked.

with days? or does it take weeks?

  1. Hi

    marking period is about 3 weeks long and starts after the marking meeting... and that is usually at least one week after the exam date. So if your script is marked early - then within a week or so... or later - then within 4 weeks.


  2. Examiners marks as soon as they get the scripts.

    GCSE results are released on the 21st August.
