  1. see a doctor and get tests done try to find out if you or your partner cannot produce.

  2. Well it's only been 4 months! It can take a normal, healthy couple on average about a year to get pregnant. You only have about a 25% chance of getting pregnant on any given cycle, even if you do everything right. I know it can be frustrating, but try to relax. You'll get pregnant soon.

  3. I have read on the net even though you have a chance to get pregnant every ovulation cycle, it does not mean that once you quit taking the pill you can get pregnant right away. It could take a healthy couple up to a year to get pregnant, even if there are no problems.  Doctors once believed that if you got pregnant right away that there was a higher chance of miscarriage, though this has not been found to be the case.

The answer to these questions will depend on a lot of factors including what type of birth control you were using and whether or not you were having normal menstrual cycles prior to starting birth control.

  4. the thing is it really depends how long you were on B.C.

if it was less than a year, you could get preggo anytime now. if you've been on it for 5 years or more, it could take years to get back into your pre B.C. cycle.

  5. I know it can be frustrating, we have been trying for 18 months with a ;miscarrige in between.  Everyone is different, it can take up to 6 months for the pill to get out of your system.  Just keep trying and have faith and have fun trying.  It will happen good luck.

  6. 4 months is not that long in the cycle of trying to conceive... especially if you just stopped birth control at the start of those 4 months. The long cycles is an issue you can talk to your doctor about. He/she can help you gain a more normal cycle or at least help you better utilize your current cycle by keeping track of hormone levels in order to detect when ovulation will occur. You might want to try a site like fertilityfriend.com to keep track of other signs and symptoms. It has helped me to better understand my cycle and there are a lot of supportive people to help you along. Keep positive. It can take a healthy couple 6 months or more to conceive. Your time will come! Good luck to you!
