  1. I am 37 and it took me 6 months to conceive.  I charted on fertility friend and am now very "in tune" with my body.  I took Blackmore's Pregnancy Gold vitamins for 6 months (and still do), ate healthily and exercised regularly.  I had my 2 boys when I was 23 and 25, and it took me one month to conceive them!  This time was a little longer than I thought.....lol.  I think the worst thing you can do is stress - the month I conceived, I had alot of family issues going on, and my mind was pre-occupied, so when I got my BFP it was a nice surprise!

I hope you get your BFP real soon!

  2. It's really based on your health, so nobody can give you a number.  Right now you can make an appointment with your OB in order to get on prenatal vitamins and make sure you are doing everything to promote conception.  The rule of thumb is, if it takes you longer than 6 months you can make an appointment with a specialist.  Good luck.

PS It took me 5 months to conceive my first baby at 28, and I needed fertility drugs to help conceive my second at 30.

  3. It may not longer because you are older - it took me 2 1/2 years i'm 20, that's pretty long time but i have a friend from work who is 35 and it tokk her 6 months.

  4. I am also 33 and trying for my 3rd child going on 6 months. My ob told me that 33 is still a good age and it shouldn't take longer than any one in there 20's. I was charting and using the opk's and the doctor told me to stop and just baby dance every other day from the time my period stops until the next one starts or I get the bfp. Stressing and obsessing over ttc can cause our hormones to go crazy and s***w up the whole process.

  5. This is how it worked for me and many like us. OK 1st do you have a menstrual cycle? if so count 10 days from the first day. during the tenth day your body will go up a few degrees for a few hours at the most this is when your body is designed to be most open to conceive.

So tell your man to be home on this day and be ready, Oh after he has blessed you with God's seed(once or many) it sounds sick but wait a few minutes before going to the Ladies room.I knew I was Pregnant 2 weeks after my former Fiancé and I did. Now I have a Blessing of God a 7yr old son.

  6. with my 2nd daughter it took me and year and i was only 20

  7. No 1 was conceived in the first month of trying, I was 28 then. I have been TTC #2 for 9 months now, i am 34 yrs. Good luck to all & god bless

  8. I'm 19 and have been trying for a year.  I've finally started charting to see whether or not I ovulate.

  9. I was 29 when I conceived my daughter and it took 6mos after being on the pill for 15 years.  The second pregnancy took 10mos to conceive, I was 32, ended in miscarriage at 8weeks in March of this year, and here I am now 33 and in cycle #5 still TTC after the mc.
