How long are Are bags warranted by the manufacture?

interesting question I don't know I assume it would be the life of the car never thought about it (my friend was in a crash last night and his air bag has crushed his sternum his car is 8 years old)

Not sure of federal laws governing air bags, but if there are, you can assume that the manufactures original warranty of the vehicle would comply with the time limits.

There are some makes who have longer warranties for the SRS (Safety Restraint System) than the rest of warranty on the car.
