  1. Until they're not.  There's no real "perfect" answer.  I won't eat a blueberry that's developed mold at the stem-spot, but a slightly wrinkly berry is harmless.

If you have a bunch of berries and you're afraid they'll spoil, then by all means, rinse & dry them, and then simply freeze them in a zipper bag.  Pull them out when you need them for smoothies or pancakes or whatever.

  2. They are firm to the touch they are good

They get a bit soft they are fine

They go a bit wrinkly they are fine for cookery

They get mould on, its bacteria and time to say godbye.

about 4 to 7 days at room temperature is good to fine

  3. prob. 10 days

    they taste good

  4. 3-4 days, just eat them before they get moldy.

  5. It depends on how long ago they were picked and how they were ripened (on the bush or artificially).  They'll keep longer if you keep them in the fridge and don't wash them immediately.  You should wash them before eating, but do it right before hand to help keep them from getting moldy.  If stored well they should last a week or more.  They're good until they get moldy or rotten looking.

If you want to keep them to use later, just freeze them-they work great in smoothies, ice cream, pancakes and muffins this way.  Spread them out on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper to freeze them overnight, then move them to a airtight container to keep them from sticking together and getting freezer burn.

  6. Until they go moldy!

  7. until they get moldy and mushy
