  1. 1 year, but you never know how long it took them to get to you originally.  I judge by color.  The darker it is the older it is

  2. The shelf life of some Fast Food condiments in little packages is only 3 months, so it's best to throw them out and get new ones.

See Food Facts below for a link to expiration date guidelines for some condiments and single-serve packages.

  3. My mom keeps them in the fridge and they last a long time. So i'm guess the glove compartment won't make a difference

  4. The ketchup and mustard packets will be good for at least one year. I would throw out a Mayonnaise packet if it was in a hot car, no matter if it was only one day.

The cost of an emergency room is much more than a mayo packet

  5. It depends on what brand it is because the cheaper ones like you used to get in school spoil quicker, but if you have the good kind it last longer. I cant give you a exact time but i cant tell you if it has a weird smell and a really dark color( darker then usual) it is bad

  6. Usually if you find them in the glove compartment of the car you don't know how long they have been there  throw them out you can always get more.  If it gets as hot as it does where I live I would be more worried about them exploding.  Now that is dangerous. If you open them and the ketchup is brown don't eat it.  You never no how old the packets are when you get them.  so even if you only had them a week they could be old already

  7. no more then a week.

    =]

  8. ketchup and mustard need no refrigeration due to their high vinegar content. Was desperate once, and tried the packets after 3 years once (sitting in my glove comp), and they were fine. Not a recommendation, just a statement of my facts.
