How long are ipods supposed to last? ?

i've heard that there maximum life time is around 2 years. i've had mine for about 3 now i think, so i was just wondering. is it suddenly going to die one day? lol

I don't think so.  You will notice a steady degrading in load time, battery charge, and other critical systems.  If your iPod still works like new, odds are you won't need a new one anytime soon.

i've had mine for about 2 and a half yrs but a few times it totally just stopped working but then started working again the next day
