I just got a rabbit yesterday and she hasn't slept much except maybe a bit in the night. she was awake every time I woke up and checked on her. Also she hasn't been eating her pellets. it is the same kind they were feeding her before. So I don't know what is wrong. She is really active also, so she doesn't seem sick.

  1. don't worry

it may look like there not sleeping but they actually are

there noses don't twtch and they're pretty much compltely still.

Rabbits mostly sleep in the day and play in the night!!

there little furry sleepy heads :)

  2. She's probably fine. Most rabbits will stop moving around if they're sick so if she's active she's ok. Rabbits sleep a lot during the day and are active at night but, they will start sleeping during your sleep patterns. My bunny sleeps outside our door at night so she can peek in and keep an eye on us. She's probably eating as well, you just haven't noticed because Rabbits eat small amounts all during the day. She's munching, she's just doing it when nobody's watching. Good luck with her, they make great friends!!!

  3. you can tell when a rabbit is asleep because it is totally still rabbits tend to get woken really easily

  4. She sounds like she is normal.

Rabbits usually rest and take naps all throughout the day and are active at night (including when she eats her pellets, which would be at night).

    Don't be worried ; )

  5. First, make sure you give her hay. She's probably just getting used to her surroundings, give her a little time and she will eat.

Rabbits don't sleep like we do.They sleep when they get tired, which could mean that she doesn't sleep for a while. They take lots of short naps, which means that you just aren't around to see her sleep. Mine usually nap during the afternoon and are up all night chewing on their cage bars and banging around. This is mostly because nighttime is when it is cooler out ( bunnies are sensitive to heat), so it hardly makes sense to sleep the night away.
