The actual answer is 15-17 days with the majority giving birth at 16 days. They can have have up to 20 babies, with 5-8 being average. She will take on the appearance of having saddle bags on her sides as she gets closer. Now it is very important not to touch the babies or disturb the new family for about 13 days or until their eye open. This includes changing the litter.
