I'm looking at the Performance Power Hammer Drill NLH710HD 710W from B + Q, but cannot find anywhere how long the cord is.

Get one of these, it's a fantastic drill and has a really long cord. about 3m.

  2. I used to work for a small company that made power tools.  The Boss used to go ballistic if anyone fitted a cord that was longer than his limit of 2 metres.  I would go with the other writer and buy a Hitachi, or a Makita or something decent, not a bargain basement model.  I believe in buying good tools and buying them once.

  3. They use to be two meters

  4. normally 2-3metres.

  5. About 2 metres, but you can use an extension lead same as with any other drill if that is too short.

  6. Go into your local B&Q & measure the flex ?!

  7. they are no longer or shorter than a normal drill

  8. That is one item you can modify as the manufacturers cut corners in places and some do it in the length of the cord.   I just go to the local lighting store(or somewhere with electrical wire) buy a length of wire same gage same flexibility and swap out the cord for the new length.  No biggy.  That or carry an extension.

  9. They are only a couple of metres.
