Your financial aid is recalculated every academic year so you must reapply every year around the same time you do your taxes.  (This is up to 8 months before classes actually start).

Yes there is a limit on how long you can get fin aid for and how much money you can borrow.  You are limited by the number of credit hours you attempt.
