  1. Mine has a dot on the top of the rollers. When it changes colors, they are ready to use. If you are not sure, read your directions or contact the maker. You can burn yourself, because they get really hot.


  2. When you l**k your finger and QUICKLY touch it

    if it goes "tssss" and like fizzes and you hear a noise, then they are hot enough
