How long are you suppose to wear a neck brace?

I was in a car accident the other day...the hospital put me in a rigid plastic neck brace. They did not tell me specifically how long to wear it. They just told me that if I was having problems in a week or so to contact my Dr.

until they tell you to take it off. call them. no one on here can tell you how severe your situation is. only you and your doctor know that.
