12 - 14 hours daily is plenty. I think that is what you are asking.

And as one above said...taking them out an hour or so before going to bed is a very healthy thing to do.

I wear mine from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. You just aren't ever supposed to sleep in them .. it can cause cataracts .. or so 2 of my doctors have told me. Your doctor is who you need to be asking this question though.

theres no limit but your going to want to take them out a couple hours before you go to bed or else they hurt like a mother the next time you put em in...

I wear freq. 55 lenses monday through friday from around 730 in the morning till 10 at night. then I take them off so I can watch some tv before I go to sleep. Saturday and sunday I like to give my eyes a break so I try to wear contacts only if necessary. Best thing is to keep some contact solution around, sometimes, after you wear them for a long time, they kind get stuck to your eyes so we the solution it makes them easier to take out.
