  1. I wouldn't worry too much about it. It would be nice to be on them for a couple of months before you got pregnant, but think of how many unplanned pregnancies there are, and how many people don't start prenatals prior to getting pregnant, and have perfectly healthy babies.  As long as you're taking them, I would not worry about how long you should take them before ttc.  I started taking mine when I found out I was pregnant, like most people do, and my little boy is growing perfectly with no issues so far.  Good luck!

  2. You can start the prenatal vitamins now if you like. The combination of the vitamins in the pills are not only good for the baby but good for you also.

  3. Doctors usually suggest about three months ... but even if you don't go a whole three months ... it's not really that big a deal ... as long as you take them once you are pregnant ...

And actually my doctor didn't even suggest a prenatal vitamin ... He only suggested a folic acid supplement ...

  4. yes it is,i started my prenatal like 1 months before i think it might have helped me get pregnant!

  5. Well, the best thing right now is to go to your doctor and have your annual pelvic exam and pap smear, and then go to your dentist and get your teeth cleaned, then try to get pregnant.  Sure, take the prenatals now - some doctors think that all fertile women should be on them.

  6. Anytime you are ready to get pregnant is safe to start prenatals. Prenatals only help your body; some women never take them (and the babies are healthy and happy), and some women take them without ever having babies.
