How long before NASCAR bans its B.Y.O.B policy?

Given recent events (and going back to last year when Gordon took over Sr in career wins). In the name of driver safety, and fan safety, do you think NASCAR will stop allowing fans to B.Y.O.B. and install over priced beer hawkers at the tracks?

  1. If they ban they would probably reinstate after jr wins

  2. It's a disgrace, that's the exact reason why nascar fans are stereotyped as ignorant rednecks!

    Grow up, People!

  3. Most times the races only allow a small cooler that will hold three or four beers tops. I'm sure through the coarse of four hours the ones that are throwing the beer have consumed them long ago. They can buy beer at the race itself ya know?! Also, there are other things to throw. They through coolers and hundreds of dollars worth of scanner equipment at Kyle in Phoenix. If they want to throw something, they will find something to throw. Sad but true.

  4. I agree Lynn why has every question/answer turned in to Dale Jr/Kyle Busch feast come on people theres more drivers out there who are just as popular...It would do no good to ban the BYOB, as the drunks are smart, they would know how to sneak it in or theyll tailgait and come in totally wasted. The vendors make a ton of money on beer already. Great idea, but I do not see it happening...Some of us can enjoy a couple beers and not get all messed up and stupid, but theres that bunch of idiots out there....I think Nascar should have bouncers like bars do, heck haul there a** out and banned them from coming to the race...  Something needs to be done, as there are some really nice families that come to Nascar races that do not need to have to put up with the drunks..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  5. It's up to the individual race tracks, not Nascar.  Each track sets the rule for what is brought into the track, not Nascar.  Nascar doesn't own the tracks.  The tracks already has over priced beer for sale.  Besides, do you think that beer cans bought from the track can't be thrown as opposed to beer cans brought in by the fans?  It seems to me that either can be thrown just as easily.

  6. i agree with you about driver safety... people's comments about them being junior fans, they are seniors fans and people who hate junior... personally people need to quit putting junior's name on all the misbehaved fans and just call them bad fans, not all of junior's or even most of his fans are rowdy rude misbehaved fans most of us know how to act when we are at the track

but yes i think that for driver safety and actually the safety of other fans charge people to either bring their own beer or ban home brought beer and charge for over priced beer at the track then we won't have a bunch of drunks

  7. Thats a freakin nightmare.  I wish people would grow up.

  8. they've already taken steps here at the auto club speedway.  you can only bring in non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles, and only as many will fit in a tiny little cooler.  and if you want a beer, you pay $7 for a plastic bottle of it.

  9. I don't think banning BYOB would help all that much, idiots would still be finding other things to throw. I mean the the NFL doesn't allow BYOB, yet one stadium (Philidelphia) actually has a holding tank and judge on hand for unruly fans And as for the Jr Nation remark, wow how ignorant, objects thrown at 2 of the most despised drivers in NASCAR and yet it's all Jr fans no one else.

  10. Probably never.

BTW Why do people turn every question into a Junior/Kyle thing?
