And where will they go? I know that the Indians will get accpeted easily into India but where will South African whites go and where will the educated blacks go? Europe and Canada immigration laws are sound but Europeans and Canadians don't like immigrants. Im sure none of you want to go to USA. Theres always Australia.

It's painfully obvious that these Xenophobic attacks are a taste of whats to come. Mob mentality started in the townships is quickly grabbing hold of all these people. instead of blaming their lack of education they blame the Indians and Whites for stealing their land. Why not give them back their land? Lets see what they do with it?

  1. The most talked about date is after 2010 or when Mandela dies but whatever it is the inevitable. The current "xenophobia" is not yet over.It is still happening but the ANC are keeping a tight lid on letting news of it out. I dont agree with you that it is "their" land and the history books will show that the Black Tribes other than the San are as much "settlers" as the White man. Be that as it may the facts are the Africans are just unable to govern or build anything.Their prime purpose in life is to destroy and they will eventually turn South Africa into the next Zimbabwe. All I expect is that there will be some degree of civilisation as the big Mining Houses will keep the mines etc running.

  2. I watched a video the other day. it was of a black parade. (not really a parade but just people walking down the street singing and drums and suff) but the video translated what they were sining anf it was horrible! they were sining about what they were going to do to the whites and it was horrible. i would not like to repeat. it just shows us that they can pretty much say anything and we will not understand what they are saying. but yeh

the video also said that the guy is predicting it to start in small doses when mandela dies cause he's the guy holding the peace or something like that. after he dies...they'll start killing.

but now thee's the riots in joburg and stuff...i think its gonna be kinda the same cept they'll turn on whites instead. I dont know whee we'll go. hopefully a country will step up and offer us a place but who knows what will hapen? only time will tell.

  3. wow guys. I mean, I do understand your genuine concern for your future and safety in South Africa - and both are equally uncertain but it's like you're all expecting a civil war to break out at any given moment and we're gonna be displaced masses - like jewish people during WW II or something.

and true.. we aren't producing politically astute leaders like Madiba at the moment, but I'm not entirely convinced that we're a nation of barbarians who are about to throw the whites into the sea. sure there are slogans like that and the infamous umshini wam... but we need to remember the context of all this - black people suffered an incredible amount under white supremacy and we were pretty much the only country in the world to undergo such a huge transition without civil war.  If you could see an inkling of the violence during the 80s just before the end of apartheid, this all would be child's play to you.. im talking crazy death tolls like 40 a day or something ridiculous like that. BUT.. and this is a big BUT - it never led to war..

the whole reason behind these attacks i think, is cause the government has no sense of accountability.  everything that has gone wrong, the living conditions that have worsened for some black people is never the government's fault.. so they blame the "intruders" as such..

i think we need to chill out just a little. "this too shall pass"

on the other hand, mob psychology that seems to reign supreme at the moment is totally unpredictable...
