How long before a HYIP crashes?

Generally (ball park) how long do these networks last before they crash?

Is it ever worth it to invest in the beginning and then pull out before they crash?

I don't know which particular HYIP your're looking at but it is most likely a scam and you will lose your money.  If it were possible to pull out before the crash then it wouldn't be much of a scam so chances are that it would be impossible to do.  I would advise that you stay away from this.

Realistically, what investment could possibly pay 100's or 1000's percent return in a matter of days or months?  Take a look at the WIKI entry for these schemes and compare one of the HYIP sites to it.

Edit to your additional comments:  Although some may have been able to pull out with a profit, are you willing to take the chance?  Besides most HYIP's are marginally illegal but I would consider them to be immoral as well since somebody will eventually be left holding the bag.  Don't get me wrong.  I like making money just as much as the next guy.  You have to ask yourself whether you're willing to take the chance that you'll be the last man out or are you willing to take advantage of someone else.

I have used several of their programs, most have rocked, some didnt -- so overall, I say that they are safe to do business with and have good programs.

Just do not invest in that plain stupid programs with incredible rates like 3-20% daily return ... I've made high profits investing in hyips with max 2% daily return.

Good luck and do not forget there is always a risk involved but... make the math ..bank gives you 3-4% anually .. you get a lot more in HYIPS...
