How long before a delayed flight due to mechanical trouble be given meal or hotel vouchers?

Every airline has a different policy in that regard. Thats the problem when everybody wants the cheapest price.  You can't get a dollars worth of service for a nickel.  Those things don't glide very well and they catch fire when they hit the ground too hard..  Its better to get it fixed before you take off even if it means sleeping in the terminal.  Nobody will work on it in mid flight. Also when it starts to drop to the ground, don't get mad if no one will get you a pillow.

for cebu pacific? ive experienced that before.. it took the flight to be delayed overnight before they gave us hotel vouchers!
