How long before a kidney infection gets better?

I am 27 years old and was just diagnosed with my first Kidney infection. It is just incredibly painful and my back feels like its going to snap in two. I was prescribed Bactrim and started it this evening. I am also taking Azo, Ibuprophen, tylenol, and drinking cranberry juice. How long will it take before I start getting some relief?

Once you start your course of medication , you will start to feel better within 5 days. Keep drinking heaps of water as well as the cranberry juice. And yes its very VERY painful.
