How long before my gcse results come out do i get the certificate

I've already had my SQA reults. I'm very happy with them.

On the 21st August, and it will be a printed slip. You should get your actual certificates in October or November.

I think the results come out on the 21st August.  You will probably not get a certificate there and then, more likely to be a computer printout.  Unless of course they have used ETS to mark them as well as the SATS.
