  1. You can bet Gov. kain will be on the band wagon before long, and I wouldn't be surprised if that bright boy webb hasn't already done so and linked it right to Bush as a kicker.

  2. That's always the denieristi.  I remember when that bridge collapsed in Minnesota.  They were posting "Did Global Warming cause the bridge collapse".  Didn't even wait for the bodies to get cold.  What class.

    edit

Brian A:  that's by far the smartest thing I've ever heard anybody say in Yahoo Answers.  It's possible you don't belong here (but please stay!).

  3. This is tricky.  You're a smart guy, listen up.

There is marked variability in extreme weather events.  So, attributing any one event to global warming is not correct, there's no way to prove it.

But, heat is the engine that drives weather events.  It's why hurricane season is mid-late summer.  So, as the planet warms, there will be more extreme weather events, and they'll be worse.  It's unavoidable.

Global warming is bad news for storm damage over the long run, regardless if any one storm is "caused" by global warming.

That's accepted fact by most all scientists.

EDIT - Exactly right.  Just _more_ of what's been going on throughout history.

  4. That d@m* climate change!!!! :P

  5. Nothing amuses me more than people whining about the as of yet unrealized hypothetical whining of other people.

  6. It'll be almost as fast as someone uses their cold daily weather as if that provided evidence that long term global warming couldn't be occuring.

That was 21 questions ago.  The denialists win the "poor evidence" contest!

Or we could measure the distance to the last question that negatively characterized the other side of the conversation... THIS question!  Congratulations, the denialists win a "below the belt" prize.

What's wrong, no skeptical science to discuss?
