How long before the NBA expands to europe?

some players are already going to europe for the simple fact that the euro is worth more than the dollar. Would it be smart for the NBA to expand to Europe? Brandon Jennings is skipping college all together to go play in europe, alot more high school kids will do the same as well. How will this effect the colelge game?

All of you are ignorant Americans. Europe has their own league: http://www.eurobasket.com/. If the NBA were to expand to Europe, it would no longer, by definition, be "National." It would become International (IBA). However, the Olympics already exist and will take place this summer in Beijing. Beijing is the capital of China. Basketball is played at the Olympics.

Rather than expanding to Europe the NBA should just have the European League play its style and the NBA play its style, then have the two championship teams face off every year. How sick would that be?

Well...that won't happen. It would take up too much time because of the long plane rides and different time zones. The players would all be tired...

There will (probably) be new NBA teams in the next few years...but only in the USA......

And maybe Canada?

It would be too hard to schedule regular games with Europe. The travelings would wear out the players so easily. It's a possibility that they'll make a rule where whoever wins the finals of each league will face each other in a world championship. As for college, I think they'll stay in their own countries, but more American students will join the Euro league.
