  1. it will always hurt but you wiill get used to it.

i had the same problem..but i suck it up and now im used to it((it still hurts but not as bad as when your first start))

  2. you could cut the toes out of long tube socks and wear them on your arms..this adds some cushioning until your fore arms get tough...

  3. It take some time to get used to it. Give it time and you will get used to the stinging feeling.

  4. When I started playing it took me about a week and a half so I would say anywhere from a week to 2 weeks! But I am glad that you are playing...it is such a wonderful sport and I'm glad people can enjoy it!

  5. until your muscles get used to it

  6. Never.  Wear long sleeves.

  7. well it depends on if your hitting/passing /bumping the ball correctly

so eventually it stops hurting depending on your resistance

  8. sometimes it will stop after a week or two but generally it is your form. try fixing your form. you most likely are using the tops of your forearms instead of the bottoms

  9. It takes about one week for your arms to adjust to the "regular" impact of volleyball.

Should you take a dig to a hard swing in a month, your arms could still tell you they don't like it, no matter what you wear to protect your arms.

Stay at your level of competition, and your arms should be happy.

Have fun playing volleyball, don't get scared by any rumor :)

  10. I have played for two seasons now, and you will still feel the pain everytime you play, but it will get a lot better after about 5 days. That's how it was for me anyways; its different for everyone. And I have to disagree with someone who answered previously, never wear long sleeves! If they get a little bunch in them, it will affect the way the ball moves. I wish you lots of luck =D

  11. it would depend on how much you play. it generally stops hurting (or it did for me) after about a week or two it may be different for other people who didn't play as much as i did. i played for about an hour every weekday. have fun! :)
