My platy has been pregnant for 2-3 or close to 4 weeks and already gave birth once. And how do I know if she already gave birth so that I don't put her in the hatchery for nothing? Will she get depressed in there?

  1. u should put her in that hatchery of yours...its a good idea to keep her in there ..if u want to save the fry....and i guess u have to go with your feelings....when my platy was pregnant , her belly was humungus lie this picture

so i put her in my 2 way breeder and a couple o days later she gave birth...i guess u go with when u feel like it might happen....she wont get stressed because shes safe a a breeder/hatchery and yes for a couple of days shell go back and fourth trying to escape but int eh end shell be fine....

  2. Well you should have put her sooner or now she will abort try putting her in now since her weeks are almos up. Most females do get a bit stressed at first but if you turn off the lights she will quickely come down
