How long can I leave my earlobe piercing out without my hole closing ?

I have my piercing for almost two months now I want to take out for a few hours or a whole day would this be ok or I should leave it longer before taking out for any amount of time

  1. I wouldnt take it out for real long after only 2 months.  I personally would say leave it in if you can, but if you cant, then I'd just try to get it back in ASAP.  It wont close much after 2 hours, if it does, you can easily push it through with a minimal amount of blood/pain.

    As a guy, I wore a couple of ear rings in my left ear for about 6 years.  I took them out the day I started up at my "real" job after college.  That was now 11 years ago, and I could still put them back in if I wanted to, those holes are never going away now.


  2. Be careful. If your going to take it out for a day, remember to put it back in again before you go to bed. After 6 weeks it SHOULD be ok to take out.

  3. if u mean that u wanted to take out ur earrings for sometime..

    then its perfectly fine if u take them off.. if ur pierce is to small then try using earrings till u gain perfect size of the hole.

    even if it is small it is not a big deal if u take it off for a da y or so...

    i've a gud size of piercing and i leave them with out earring for more than a month it doesn't effect atall
