How long can I stay after termination of H1b (academic) visa in USA?

Question

I am working as postdoc on H1B (academic) visa in a university which has valid stamp till 2009, but it will be terminated soon, due to lack of funds, so could you please tell me , how long do I have time to look for another postdoc position who sponsors H1B academic (non profit org) which does not come under regular H1B with cap.

See site below and scroll down to the paragraph titled' An  H1b worker faces additional obstacles..."  it says 10 days...this is a very difficult position to be in.  Hope things work out for you.
