  1. depends where your from

you would need a work permit and they are not easy to get

  2. Depends on what is stipulated in your entry documents. If there is an expiry/renewal date, not any longer than that. If it states that you must be a full-time student, the visa is invalid as soon as you complete your graduate degree and are not enrolled in a new program.

  3. You're allowed to stay and work in Canada for one year after graduation, provided that your work is degree-related.

At least that was the law a few years ago. I can look it up and let you know if it's changed.

Ok... looked it up, and it seems to be still the case. You can stay for up to 2 years in some cases. Here's the official government link:

  4. If you are willing to work outside of the Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver areas you can stay for up to two years after you graduate, depending on how long you studied in Canada.  Usually if your program was one year long, then you can stay for one year after graduation.  If your program was for two years, you can stay for two years after graduation.  You have to work in a more rural area to stay for two years, but in reality there are many lovely city areas in Canada that are not part of the "top three".   Here is the link you need.  Best of luck with your plans.
