How long can I use my PSP(Play Station Portable) after I charged the battery?

I want to buy a new PSP, but I want to know how long can I use it after I charged the battery.

Gameplay: approximately 3 - 6 hours

Video Playback: approximately 3 - 5 hours

After the battery has run out, it will take approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes to fully charge the battery pack using the AC adaptor.

Depending on software usage the hours of battery life may change.

For example a puzzle game like lumines will play for longer (4-5 hours) but a game like grand theft auto or ridage racer will play for much less due to streaming of media files or constant texture mapping, recolouring, etc from the umd (2-3 hours).

Music and videos will play for much longer (7-8 hours) than games because there isn't much cpu activity on the psp.

the psp tell u how much time is left, go to settings--battery information..

also depends on the lighting. if u turn it to less light u can get like 8 hours on it
