How long can UGA hang on to #1?

I predict conservatively that they will stay number 1 until they play at ASU. If they somehow have a good enough team to beat ASU at Arizona, they will get thrashed by their conference schedule, starting with Tennessee at home. If that doesnt do the trick, at LSU, Florida at Jacksonville, and at Auburn will sober them up quickly. A loss at kentucky or Vanderbilt will put them in rehab.

Tennessee will beat them first (they beat them by alot last year) and then I think they will have a let down and end up loosing 3 and not make the SEC Championship.

They will lose it at LSU, Florida, or Auburn. But any of those games could go either way.

although i do think that uga is probably better than any of its scheduled opponents, it'd be near impossible for it to go undefeated. in fact, if they scrape through with fewer than two losses, it'd be nothing short of a miracle. while the likes of florida, tennessee, lousiana, and auburn might not match up in a best-of-ten series, they're all good enough that if they have a good day or georgia has a bad one that they could come up with a victory. just goes to show how tough competing in the SEC is

Five SEC teams are in the top 20, including Georgia.  Georgia plays all of them.  They will have one or two losses this year.
