  2. A governor does not rule, he simply governs along with the Senate and House of Representatives. Elections for governor are conducted every 4 years and a candidate can be reelected as many times as they choose to run for the governor office

  3. 4yrs and if they re-elect him, then 4more yrs. 8yrs max

  4. The terms are in 4 years period.  We will have election in November 2008, the elected governor term will start on 2 January 2009.

    However, we do not have a law limiting the number of terms a governor can rule (consecutive or not).

  5. 8 years at a time (4x2),  after four years out of office, he/she can run for governor again.
