How long can a governor of a state remain in office?

  1. Each state has a constitution, and it would be different wherever you went.  But I think it's one of those things that can be indefinite.  Like Senators who are in office for 80 years, I think most states would allow a governor to be re-elected as many times as people still thought he or she was doing a good job.
