  1. uhmm probably the same amount of time as humans...about 3 days but even after one day they will be majorly dehydrated


  2. I think a hamster can live without water. We have 2 hamsters here in our house and we don't put water to their cage and they are still alive for 9 months already.

  3. It depends on the species I think. I have Roborovski hamsters and I didn't see them drink water for the first 6 weeks or so after I got them, even though I provided it. In fact, when I put some down in a dish they were afraid of it!

    I know that gerbils can get all the water they need from fruit and veg, so perhaps some hamsters can too. They are desert creatures after all.


  4. Well i have seen a hamster die with in a day with out water. It was a sad site, But usually with in about 3 to 4 days they will die. It is quiet interesting a human can survive for up to 3 months without food, But with out water they will die with in days.
