  1. 40-140 degrees F is the danger zone where bacteria causes problems, but realistically 65 should be where youre worried to eat it. so with that being said, i would say about 1.5 to 2 hours with no worries.

  2. The 3 things that spoil the fastest are Poultry, Dairy and Mayo. The guy above never got sick and he was lucky not to do so. Don't take the chance and keep it cool. Your suppose to keep it under 40 degree's or cooler to be safe. When you take your food handlers card or Serv-Safe Certification, this is what is required by State Laws. This is for your son's saftey and for your family. If you can go to school or call and have the teacher put it in cold storage ( Refrigerator ) that would be great. Next time put a ice pack or frozen bottle of water with it. It may spoil depending on how hot it is at school and where he keeps his sack lunch until he eats it. The cheese and turkey have a lot of sodium in them for shelf life and the mayo might to, depending on which brand you use.The bacteria does not thrive as good with a lot of sodium, but any food goods with heat will spoil.

  3. no long at all.

  4. i never packed a cold pack with my lunch when i was younger and i never got sick, they should be fine as long as it is in a bag, if you put a cold drink in there that will keep it cold.

  5. don't worry about it, he'll be fine

it can sit out for 2 or more hours and he's not going to get sick or anything
