  1. As long as they're covered with the brine, they'll be ok for a long time....maybe 6 mos.


  2. I would say a jar of capers would last longer than 3 months.

  3. Once opened they need to be refrigerated. They will keep up to 9 months. Make sure the capers are covered with brine before storing. It is best to handle the capers with a new spoon and not your fingers so contamination is kept to a minimum.

    I love using capers in many dishes for a nice flavor accent.
