  1. for not very long time. it is a matter of a few minutes. If there is no oxygen supply there may be a heart stroke within 4-7 minutes at a max period.

    Stopping oxygen supply means there is no breathing or lungs function is collapsed.

    There will be still some function due to residual air volume in lungs but again it takes place in case of complete failure of respiration. Then there are some more minutes or seconds to live and muscles begin to die.
