I bought chicken wings on Sunday and they've been fridged since. I plan on cooking them today (thursday). Are they still good?

  1. It is very close to going bad, chicken is barely ever good after four days thawed, but by acting quickly and washing the meat throughly you can still eat it. Chicken gone bad will smell bad . Other ways to tell if your meat is spoiled are if there is discoloration, a sticky slimminess, or even a bit of a crusty skin developing over exposed parts of the meat. If none of these conditions exist with your chicken wings, proceed with your cooking plans.

Wash the meat and be sure to wash all utensils that the meat comes in contact with and cook the meat to a internal tempreture of 165* F. Be safe and good luck with your chicken.

  2. They are good until the expiry date, it depends on how old they were when you bought them, but if they weren't old when you bought them they should be perfectly fine
