  1. You can keep them out of their cage for as long as you want as long as its not forever and they have food and water if you have them out for more than 1 1/2 - 2 hours. I've never really had my pets out for longer than an hour but you can have them out as long as you want! You can hold/pet them whenever you want, there is no limitations.

  2. as long as it could

  3. I dunno, my hamster seemed fine out of her cage for like an hour the other day. She was running around in her ball. I would say not too long at a time, make sure you put um back in the cage after i would guess an hour so they can eat or drink their water if they need too. Other than that i don't think there is a limit!

  4. Well since there little don't let them play on the floor, like let them play on the bed

and if you have any empty toilet paper roles let them crawl in them. i do that with my hamster

  5. I don't think there's a limitation. I would just say be conscious about water if it get longer than 30 minutes.  I usually have ours out for 30 minutes and she is always thirsty when I put her back in her cage. We have a regular routine we do. First she goes in her exercise wheel and then I take her out and we play at the coffee table with her toilet paper rolls and I usually give her a few treats. After that she will be crawl on me for a while and then I will put her back in her cage.

When I first put Poppy in her wheel, I'm usually tidying up her cage for her. She seems to like the structure!

Have fun with your friend! =)
