Floyd Mayweather is undeniably UNDEFEATED. He has money on top of money on top of more money, so it's plain to see that he ain't never going broke (at least not any time soon).

  1. Cotto is the obvious big money fight for Mayweather at the moment. Other than that he could go for the winner of Spinks vs Forrest or maybe step up to middleweight and try and beat Palvik or one of the other champions at that weight which really would be impressive. But realistically i dont see him going above the light middleweight limit, and i cant see anyone currently at that weight or welterweight that can beat him.

  2. I think Money Mayweather can go as long as he likes until age catches up with him , He is Pound for Pound the best fighter out now and he has earned his respect even from those who fail to give it to him , There will always be the next person in line now its cotto next who knows , he has put in his time and if i was him i would coast it out , as we all know he has the money , he has the titles , me being a smart person i wouldn't put my 0 in jeopardy unless the pay was REAL NICE , he has done it all there is nothing else to prove its time to get PAID now..

  3. If he can beat Cotto, Floyd might go on forever.  Miguel Cotto is just about the last challenge for Mayweather.  He has fights with guys like Margarito or Mosley but Cotto is the one the public wants to see.  Floyd can go for as long as he wants to, or until he loses, which ever comes first.

  4. Mayweather has no insentive to fight after the De La Hoya rematch, he has it all, money and a perfect boxing record...

  5. I doubt he'll have many more fights. His legacy is sealed, I'm sure he has very few ambitions left in the sport. After teh 2nd De La Hoya fight (which I think Mayweather will win comfortably) he'll have one, maybe two fights tops I reckon. Spinks, then maybe even Pavlik.

Then I think he'll slip into MMA, or that WWE garbage.

  6. well he keeps talking and "faking" retirement if he actually does retire after his nexy win or two then he can retire undefeated but hes gonna face two big challenges this year and i could easily see him lose so hes talking a risk

    thanks

  7. I don't think he wants to fight anymore.  If he steps into the ring because he's bored, I think we're going to see a big upset within his next 2 fights.
