  1. For all your waking hours. Then discard them and put the next pair on for the same comfortable fit!

  2. i never used daily contacts i mean why do you people even buy them its just a waste of money cant you buy regular ones that are worth $60 and are for a whole year lol ...

  3. they  are to be used only for that day and then should be disposed of.  They are not designed to be worn longer than a day.

  4. They are 'daily.'  I have never used daily contacts. I use 2 week contacts, which I have technically worn for up to 2+ months. The bottom line: Keep them CLEAN. If you get any speck embedded in them, then change them, otherwise you can scratch your eye.  As long as they are kept clean, feel comfortable and aren't 'cloudy' or irritating to wear (more so than normal)...then probably 1 to 2 weeks. I've worn one pair of two weeks contacts up to 2.5 months, if I remember correctly. Eventually, they start to curl up, won't hold their shape, feel uncomfortable to wear, and won't stay in.

For dailys...they may make them thinner, since they are made for one day with no intention of cleaning and using them for a second time.

  5. depends on the brand of contacts you have. they are all designed to only be comfortable for up to 10 hours, with the exception of acuvue MOIST, which are comfortable for about 12-16 hours but they cost about $700 for a years supply (in our office). depending on the tolerance of your eyes and the conditions where you spend your days, you might be able to tolerate them longer, but maybe not. there is a new daily lens comming out this summer manufactured by CIBA (see-buh) vision that (the rep claims) will be comfortable for 12-16 hours. so they should be as good as the acuvue moist, but the rep says they will not be as expensive.  there is a name for them, but i honestly dont remember what it is.

you should NEVER overwear your contacts like the person before me stated. this can lead to ulcers in your eye and you will not be able to wear contacts for the rest of your life. these are your eyes...the only ones you have. TAKE CARE OF THEM!!

    good luck
