How long can i recieve g.i. bill payments?

Question

I'm almost finished with my electrical apprenticeship,however I do not have 8000 hours yet.Im going to take my journeyman test in 1 month,however I will not actually get my license until I reach the 8000 hour mark.Will I recieve g.i. bill payents until that time?Or will they end this month?

They only last while you're actually in school.
