How long can i stay and work in USA after MBA?

I have completed my MBA from US and my employer will apply for my H1 in this year. But does that mean I have to leave the country when my work permit to work after MBA expires?

If you are still enrolled in the school, then you can apply for OPT, which is optional practical training. This permits you to work for any company you wish for a period of 12 months. Speak to the DSO or international student adviser at your school.

If you are no ineligible for OPT then you will have no choice but to return home within the 60 day grace period that F1 students have.
