  1. For about 2 weeks maybe.

I'm not sure because it based on my experience.

I'm holding H2B Visa right now.

  2. The period of validity of your visa has nothing to do with how long you can stay. It is the validity period of your I-94. You are allowed to stay in the U.S. until the expiration date of your I-94 as long as you are maintaining the H-2B status, i.e., still working for the petitioner.

Once your I-94 expires, your time is up. There is no grace period.

  3. You must leave BEFORE your visa expires.  This is true of any visa.  Your permission to remain here ends on the expiration date of the visa.  You are an illegal alien if your visa has expired, and subject to deportation.  As a practical matter, they won't go to the expense of deporting you the day after your visa expires.  They just note the overstay in your immigration records and make it more difficult to get a visa in the future.  Overstay 30 days or more, and they bar you from re-entry.

BTW, if you overstay visa in one country, it makes it more difficult to get a visa elsewhere.  Immigration services can (and do) share info.  Also, visa applications usually ask if you have overstayed visas elsewhere, been deported, been barred from entry.  And of course the big tip-off is right smack in your passport: date of visa expiration, date of departure, and a cancellation stamp or code.

Make sure you are out of the country before 11:59 p.m. on the date stamped on your visa.
